Is this the right starting point?

This service may fit if…

What the work covers

A defined scope with useful outputs.

Every engagement is tailored to the condition and complexity of your records. These are the core outcomes we discuss when shaping the scope.

01

Transaction organization

Business activity is categorized consistently so the story in your reports matches what happened in the business.

02

Account reconciliations

Bank and credit-card activity is compared with the books to surface missing, duplicated, or unexplained items.

03

Monthly financial reports

You receive a practical reporting package designed to show performance, position, and the questions that deserve attention.

04

Open-item follow-up

We identify the information still needed from you, explain why it matters, and keep the close moving.

How we move forward

A careful process, explained in plain English.

  1. 01

    Set the foundation

    Close the month

We organize activity, reconcile the agreed accounts, resolve open questions, and prepare your reports.

  3. 03

    Keep the numbers useful

We call attention to unusual movements and make sure you understand what the reports can—and cannot—tell you.

01

A report package you can discuss

Monthly Close includes a profit-and-loss statement, balance sheet, and written exception list. Close + Control adds an aging review, cash and KPI summary, and a monthly review meeting.

02

What we need from you

Agreed QuickBooks access, statements for the accounts and periods in scope, supporting records for unclear transactions, and answers to open questions. The initial fit check asks about scope; exchange financial records through the agreed onboarding process.

03

How monthly service starts

Current files can move into an agreed close schedule. Missing months or unreliable starting balances may require assessment and cleanup first. Clean-file onboarding is one monthly fee with a $750 minimum; historical cleanup and software subscriptions are separate.

04

Agree on the boundary before work begins

These packages cover a focused service business. Inventory, job costing, trust or client funds, cryptocurrency, foreign operations, and complex consolidations need a different scope or specialist. Tax preparation, payroll processing, sales-tax filing, and assurance work are not included.

A useful first step when the file is uncertain

Common questions

Know what to expect.

How quickly will each month be closed?

Timing depends on when statements, questions, and supporting records are available. During onboarding, we agree on a practical close schedule and define what we need from you to maintain it.

Can monthly service begin if my books are behind?

Yes, but cleanup may need to happen first. We assess the starting point, separate historical repair from the recurring workflow, and recommend the clearest sequence.

Does monthly bookkeeping include payroll or sales tax?

No. We do not provide payroll or sales-tax services. We can use reports supplied by the providers handling those responsibilities when they are needed for the books.
